Several West Central Iowa Regional Board of REALTORS® members participated in distributing water bottles that shared Fair Housing information during the RAGBRAI overnight stop in Carroll, IA in late July. Water bottles with the REALTOR® logo were filled with Fair Housing information and given out to all who stopped by the booth. Many good conversations were enjoyed regarding Fair Housing. We had visitors/riders from all over the nation.
Atlantic High School student Bryan York was one of the recipients of the 2022 Stevens High School Scholarship through the REALTOR® Foundation of Iowa. Students were evaluated not solely upon academic or athletic abilities but upon a general sense of the student, including qualities such as good character, community service, volunteerism, work ethic, and more. Congratulations to Bryan, grandson of WCIRBOR member Janell McIntyre of Shenandoah, who happily presented Bryan with the scholarship. We all wish you the very best in your continued education.

RPAC is — and always will be — a fair, legal and vital way for REALTORS® to speak in a unified voice. RPEC is the REALTORS® Political Education Committee. RPEC contributions are used to further the political education and awareness of our membership and the public. The contributions are also used for issues mobilization, coalition building and the development of brochures and position papers. RPEC money cannot be used for campaign contributions. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHY IS RPAC IMPORTANT? Because public policy shapes our business — No matter where you live or how far it seems from the state capital or Washington, D.C., laws affecting the real estate industry are passed every year.
