Randy Ouren, President-Elect

Randy Ouren, who grew up in Harlan, Iowa, spent his first 10 years after college working in mortgage lending, banking, and some real estate sales in various SW Iowa towns. He has been owner-broker of Ouren Real Estate, started in 1954 by his father, since 1988 and is a GRI/CRS. He has seen much change in real estate practice going from one page to 8 page offers, listings on one side of a 3×5 card to 5 pages, from typewriters, single page copiers, and fax machines to the internet, email, and texting. He wonders what is next.

Lyndsey Lamb, Secretary/Treasurer

Lyndsey grew up in rural southwest Iowa where she learned that hard work pays off. “You learn to respect animals as they provide a food source and sometimes they are your best friend or even your county fair project. You learn to drive at a young age and I’m not talking about automatic transmissions! You roll up those sleeves, get dirty, and get going – it’s the only way jobs will get done.”

Lyndsey graduated from Griswold High School and attended Iowa Western Community College and graduated with an Associates of Applied Sciences in Management & Supervision in 2004. She then furthered her education at Bellevue University with a Bachelors of Science in Management in 2008.

Lyndsey lived and worked in the Atlantic until 2014 when she relocated to the Des Moines area. “I strive to be the best full-service REALTOR by building a reputation of choosing the ethical way by my commitment to honesty and integrity for my clients.” She is a member of 3 MLS; West Central Iowa – Des Moines Area – and Englewood Area Board of REALTORS®. Dave Wiges, Director

Dave & his wife Carol have three children and raised several foster kids that are grown and have families of their own, but still refer to them as mom and dad, and come “home” for holidays, etc., and celebrate life events together. They have a daughter at home that they adopted as an infant. She is a Junior in high school and keeps them on the go with her sports and activities. They also have 3 grandchildren that keep them on their toes. As an avid Iowa State fan, they spend a lot of time traveling to football and basketball games,  rarely missing a football game and have been season ticket holders for more than 20 years.

Dave has lived in Denison for approximately 30 years, 20 of which he spent in the automotive business, as a used car manager, general manager, and dealership owner.  He spent approximately 8 years as a marketing consultant for Berkshire Hathaway Media, managing the web and print advertising accounts of approximately 80 active clients. During that time, he was frequently asked to consider getting involved in real estate, and in the spring of 2019 made the commitment to become a real estate agent, and quickly found it to be a perfect fit for him. “I truly enjoy working with buyers and sellers to help them achieve their real estate goals, and take it very personal, treating clients like I would want to be treated. I take pride in being able to tell my clients that I am available from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. to accommodate their busy schedules”.

Dave previously served on the Board of Directors for The Crawford County Chamber and Deployment Council, and is currently an officer on the Board of Directors for the WESCO Foundation in Denison.
