Kiki Scarberry,  President

Kiki Scarberry is the owner/broker of Our Town Realty, a real estate office in Creston, that she runs out of her home. Her house is most often filled by two daughters, a railroad engineer husband, two dogs and lots of friends, family, card games, board games, but most importantly lots of laughs.

This is her third year selling real estate and she has one year under her belt running her firm. Before becoming a Realtor® Kiki worked as a marketing director and did graphic and web design. Her favorite part of helping individuals, couples, families and businesses buy or sell their properties is getting to know the people and hearing their stories.

When she isn’t working real estate she is carpooling kids to school, softball, basketball, dance, appointments, cooking, camping, camping and more camping.

Jamie McManis, President-Elect

Jamie is the managing Broker/Owner of Liberty Realty in Corning, Iowa. She has been involved in real estate since 2016. New to the REALTOR® Association and wanting to get a full experience, Jamie completed the NAR Commitment to Excellence course and earned the C2EX endorsement as well as the PSA certification. Before entering the real estate industry, Jamie spent the majority of her professional career in a business accounting position and sales. 

Jamie and her husband reside in Corning with their 5 children. The couple also own and manage EDGE Ag Solutions, a retail agriculture business in Corning. Together they are committed to helping others grow and succeed and enjoy being a piece of the puzzle that helps others achieve their goals – whether that is through buying or selling a property or helping a producer’s performance through precision operational direction. 

Outside of real estate, Jamie is very active in her community and is a volunteer on the Adams Community Chamber of Commerce Board. She is also involved in many main street planning committees. Her most recent favorite volunteer event was hosting a Youth Entrepreneurial Day Camp for the students in the surrounding area. In her personal time, she enjoys attending church, going on vacations, and spending time with her family. Jamie’s been known to describe her life as a sum of “The Four F’s” – Faith, Family, Future, Fun! She tries to keep her efforts balanced and focused in those categories; and in doing so, feels she has been very blessed. 

Eric Rosener, Secretary/Treasurer

My name is Eric Rosener and I’m a REALTOR® at Smart Moves Iowa Realty out of Carroll. As a former storefront business owner in Manning, working with clients and consumers is a true passion of mine. I studied Real Estate with Iowa Realty University to obtain my license, and in addition I acquired my home inspector certification. Prior, I received my Associates in Finance from Ashworth College in 2020. With 10+ years of sales and service experience, secondary education, and a love of helping others, Real Estate has combined all my skills to become a prime choice for my clients. When I’m not tending to my business, I enjoy spending my time with my wife and three young children along with close friends and relatives. Being a Manning native, I’ve chosen to raise my children here and be active in my community. I serve as a member of the Manning Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Housing Development Committee.  A quote of mine that I hold close in all business endeavors is “The only way to set yourself apart in an industry is to not be afraid to be different. It’s important to make great connections with everyone you meet, work hard, and be passionate about what you do. High quality service will always be the best return you can give to any client!”

Carrie Riesberg, Director

Carrie graduated from Iowa State University and had the opportunity to live in several areas throughout the world.  Some of her work experiences include: building houses in the Costa del Sol area of Spain, sales and marketing in northern England, and sales and recruitment in Dallas TX. .  After several years of world travel and international work experience, she has gained a new appreciation for where a person wants to call home. Carrie moved to Carroll Iowa in 2007 and is a licensed Real Estate Agent with Smart Moves Iowa Realty.   She is proud of her community and blessed to call Carroll home.

Carrie is extremely active in her community and has volunteered and led several local events.  One of her favorite volunteer opportunities was working as the board president for the Carroll Young Professional Group and creating their annual Carroll Fest event that is still a success today.  She has a deep passion for her faith and also leads in several aspects of her local Church.  Carrie is a large group children’s leader at Central Church, leads the children’s Christmas program, volunteers with the annual helicopter egg drop at Easter, and of course, assists with their famous trunk or treat event at Halloween.

Carrie and her husband Jay, together have three children.  They are licensed foster parents and usually have several additional children in their home throughout the year.

Melissa Ihnen, Director

Melissa Ihnen has been involved in the real estate business since 1988 when she started as the office manager for Meyer & Gross Real Estate Company. Now the managing Broker/Owner of that same company, she has experience in all aspects of the business. She holds the CRS, GRI, CNE and e-PRO designations and is a past President of the WCIRBOR.

She and her husband are life-long residents of Cass County where she’s involved with Boy Scouts, the proud mom of two Eagle Scouts, is active in her community, is past President of the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Cass County Board of Adjustments and the Cass County Planning & Zoning Board and is a member of First Lutheran Church where she is currently the Chair of the Board of Education. Melissa has also helped with her boy’s schools, been a Sunday School teacher and is a past member of the Atlantic Business and Professional Women. In her spare time she enjoys flower gardening, bowling and time spent with family and friends.

Janell McIntyre, Director

Janell grew up in a Real Estate and farming family.  Her Father, Jesse A. McIntyre, started the Real Estate and Auction Business in 1946.  As a child growing up, there were many Saturdays and summer days that were spent in town with her Dad at his office in the upstairs of Bar Kessler’s building. Her sisters and she would escort clients upstairs to his office!

Janell went to work in her father’s office as a secretary in 1984. In 1985, she received her salesperson license!  She started taking over more of the paperwork for her father.  In 1988 she received her Broker’s license.  During this time, she went with her father to all his land auctions and did all his closings, learning the business from the bottom up!

The big change came in 1999 when she bought the business from her father and became the full time Broker.  She has added more agents and continues to grow her business.

Sheri Wederquist, Director

Sheri Wederquist began her real estate career in 2016 and is now an agent with Rubey Realty in Red Oak, IA. Experience in banking as a branch manager/loan officer, and in manufacturing as a human resources representative, all have contributed to the transition to being self-employed and serving her customers. 

Sheri grew up in Fremont County, raised her family in Page County and has made her home in Red Oak. Her clients appreciate her knowledge of southwest Iowa and her ability to find the home of building that suits their needs. She enjoys getting to know her customers and learning the history of the properties she lists. In December 2019, Sheri was appointed to the Planning & Zoning Board for the City of Red Oak. At Rubey Realty, she assists with the rental management, is a part of the marketing committee, community involvement group, and takes a lead role in team-building activities. 

On a personal note, Sheri has 2 grown children, and 6 grandsons! With this career choice, she has time to do many activities with those grandsons, ages 7 months to 12 years. This is what drives her enthusiasm!

Wanda Hosfield, Director

Wanda first gained her real estate license in 2005, her Designated Broker license in 2007, and opened South Central Iowa Realty, an Iowa Realty franchise – a company built from the ground up to be one of the southern Iowa’s largest real estate companies which mirrors Iowa Realty’s claim to fame as Iowa’s largest, which now serves nationwide. From a single agent broker-owner office, Wanda has grown in area and people with four sales associates now under her supervision and now serves all of Ringgold and Decatur counties as well as branching out into Union, Taylor, Clarke, Wayne and Page counties over the past decade. During the past 12 years, Wanda has learned, as others have, to become prolific in social media at the beginning of this new and exciting form of marketing. Wanda is serving her first term as a director on the West Central Iowa Regional Board of REALTORS® and is anxious to learn all of the ins & outs and serve in a fair and useful capacity.

A family with a strong work ethic, they are life-long Ringgold County residents and have a row-crop operation, cow/calf herd, market calves, and finish swine for a well-known pork provider to the world. Son Cass is a partner in their farming operation as well as Iowa-licensed to sell real estate and is becoming an integral part of SCIR specializing in farm sales. While they are driven by hard work, they are blessed with time to spend with their two sons, two grandsons and one very special daughter-in-law (their only girl).  They are strong supporters of their local businesses and proud to not only be a financial supporter but volunteering when asked. “Our family, faith and dedication to a strong work ethic are truly among our greatest blessings!” says Wanda. 


Kirstie Thomas, Director

Originally from Clarinda, IA. Kirstie Thomas has been a licensed Realtor in Iowa and Nebraska for 2.5 years. Her dad, Chuck Thomas (who is the Broker of Thomas Realty) has been in Real Estate her whole life, so when it came time to become a Realtor, Kirstie had a wealth of knowledge and support behind her.

She has managed to build strong relationships in the southwest Iowa community and proudly serves her hometown area for real estate needs. 

Kirstie has the ambition and drive to ensure her clients success on every transaction. She also works hard to maintain a kind and professional rapport with other agents. Most recently, Kirstie was voted the fast growing agent out of 1 million other agents on the Homesnap Platform. 

In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, friends, and traveling! She also has a small Pomeranian named Brody who usually accompanies her on her travels.

Kirstie hopes to join the board of directors with goals of making a positive and meaningful impact in her position. And plans to bring a lot of new and great ideas that she is looking forward to sharing! 

Dave Wiges, Director

Dave & his wife Carol have three children and raised several foster kids that are grown and have families of their own, but still refer to them as mom and dad, and come “home” for holidays, etc., and celebrate life events together. They have a daughter at home that they adopted as an infant. She is a Junior in high school and keeps them on the go with her sports and activities. They also have 3 grandchildren that keep them on their toes. As an avid Iowa State fan, they spend a lot of time traveling to football and basketball games,  rarely missing a football game and have been season ticket holders for more than 20 years. 

Dave has lived in Denison for approximately 30 years, 20 of which he spent in the automotive business, as a used car manager, general manager, and dealership owner.  He spent approximately 8 years as a marketing consultant for Berkshire Hathaway Media, managing the web and print advertising accounts of approximately 80 active clients. During that time, he was frequently asked to consider getting involved in real estate, and in the spring of 2019 made the commitment to become a real estate agent, and quickly found it to be a perfect fit for him. “I truly enjoy working with buyers and sellers to help them achieve their real estate goals, and take it very personal, treating clients like I would want to be treated. I take pride in being able to tell my clients that I am available from 5 a.m. until 10 p.m. to accommodate their busy schedules”.

Dave previously served on the Board of Directors for The Crawford County Chamber and Deployment Council, and is currently an officer on the Board of Directors for the WESCO Foundation in Denison.
