About WCIRBOR
The West Central Iowa Regional Board of REALTORS® (WCIRBOR) is an association of real estate professionals in a 19 county region of West Central and Southwest Iowa.
The board is one of nearly 1,400 real estate boards in the country which make up the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the largest trade association in the world.
WCIRBOR was formed in late 2014 as a result of a merger between the Bluegrass Board of REALTORS®, the Carroll Board of REALTORS®, the Fremont-Page Board of REALTORS®, the Montgomery Board of REALTORS® and the West Central Iowa Board of REALTORS®.
This merged association has a combined membership of 240+ REALTORS®. Our primary mission is to serve the needs of our members while advocating for homeowners. We provide our members with educational offerings and we are active in local, state and national legislative issues that affect the rights of all Americans to own real property. Not every real estate licensee is a REALTOR®.
The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
The association is governed by a ten-member board of directors selected from among the association membership as well as an Executive Officer who oversees the administrative side of the association.
The West Central Iowa Regional Board of REALTORS® is committed to promoting Fair Housing, Cultural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion of all. We work with everyone to help them achieve the American Dream.
